Die Blue Dolphin ist ein brandneues Boot, das 2022 gebaut wurde, 27,5 Meter lang ist und viel Platz bietet, sodass unsere Gäste ihre Zeit an Bord genießen können. Es stehen 4 verschiedene Arten von klimatisierten Kabinen zur Verfügung, darunter die Upper Deck Master Cabin mit eigenem Bad, einem Kingsize-Bett (oder 2 Einzelbetten) und atemberaubendem Blick auf das Meer. Die Master-Kabine auf dem Hauptdeck hat ebenfalls ein eigenes Bad und bietet ein großes Doppelbett (oder 2 Einzelbetten) sowie direkten Zugang zum Hauptdeck. Standard Twin und Quad Shared Cabins haben kein eigenes Bad, aber sie teilen sich 4 Badezimmer. Es gibt ein geräumiges Tauchdeck, damit Taucher sich bequem ausrüsten können. Das Essen wird in Buffetform serviert und ist eine Mischung aus lokaler und westlicher Küche.
Die Similan-Inseln beherbergen einige der schönsten Korallen und Meereslebewesen der Welt, was sie zu einem wahren Paradies für Taucher und Naturliebhaber gleichermaßen macht. The Blue Dolphin bietet 4-tägige Ausflüge an, die Stopps in Similans, Koh Bon, Tachai, Richelieu und Seachart beinhalten. Zu den besuchten Tauchplätzen gehören West of Eden, Shark Fin Reef, Boulder City, Elephant Head Rock, Turtle Rock, North Point, Three Trees, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai Pinnacle, der berühmte Richelieu Rock und das Boonsung Wrack.

Great trip
Snake, mantas, sharks and many more good sights on the trip together with a very nice crew who was always doing their best to keep everybody in good mode and most important safe. The cabin we had was great for us three as a family.

Phantastic 4 days
We booked the 4 nights tours around the Similan islands, and our time on the Blue Dolphin was just perfect! The boat is newly refurbished and spacious, catering to smaller groups and taking only 4 divers per guide. Our en-suite cabin was big enough for our suitcases, with a hot shower and a good AC. The instructors Alex and Brie were wonderful, taking care of everything and making us feel safe and well informed. The crew was amazing, always wearing a big smile and feeling us more than welcome, and the food was plentiful and always just great - and we were fed 5 times a day ;-) the dives were amazing, too, plenty of fish and marine life, different sites for all levels. The equipment was in great shape, too - everything was really phantastic, we enjoyed our 4 days thoroughly and can absolutely recommend the Blue Dolphin.

Can't Find a Con
I've never felt so honored to write a review. Coming from the USA to SE Asia for the first time, my friend and I were unsure what to expect aboard the Blue Dolphin. Specifically, I was uncertain they'd be able to accommodate my vegan+ gluten friendly diet, but I was so ignorant! The Blue Dolphin and her crew were the perfect balance of kindness and fun. They were extremely professional, but were able to enjoy laughs and stories all together. The ship is as large and spread out as I could hope. Plenty of room for quiet reading or sharing of fish tales. The rooms were kept so clean and cool. After each dive, the crew handed us a fresh drink and warm towel which became the only good part of getting out of those beautiful waters. To top it all off, I think I can say with full honesty that the stuffed me to the brim with some of the best food I've had in my entire life. Traveling through asia as a gluten free vegan was not easy, or not until I boarded the Blue Dolphin. I'm still thinking about those curries a month later. My review wouldn't be complete without a heartfelt thank you to Bri, our lovely guide. There were only 12 drivers aboard, and Bri + my buddy and I had our own unique dive each time. Bri's energy and excitement helped us embrace the beauty of this area, and she's extremely knowledgeable about the sea and its critters! Wow, what a great crew, and a trip to remember. Thank you, Big Blue!

Nest Liveaboard in the Andaman Sea
I've been on different boats around the Similans and in other places and this one topped the others. They are just a little bit better in everything. They even made Dinghi drops comfortable for me. the guides were all instructors and very competent, they briefed and debriefed the dive groups individually. everyone on the boat was always in a good mood and super friendly. I'll be back!

Good value for money on a boat in very good condition!
The diving at Richelieu Rock and the food was amazing! I got the last space, in a 4-bed cabin. It was very "compact living" but since none of my room mates were snoring, it worked out pretty well. The value for money ratio was therefore very good, but could have been a nightmare, with a heavily snoring person in the cabin...
