The Heritage Explorer is a 30-meter/98-foot expedition yacht that carries 18 guests in 10 cabins on adventure cruises in New Zealand. There are 4 types of cabin, all with ample storage, TV, private en suite bathrooms with walk-in rainfall showers, and a picture porthole. The Royal cabin is located on the Bridge Deck and has a queen-sized bed. The Salvin’s cabins can have a double bed or 2 lower berths; the Wandering cabins have 1 single berth, and the Buller’s cabin has 1 bunk bed. All staterooms are located on the same deck and have unobstructed ocean views. The on-board chef prepares delicious meals using local produce, and any fresh catches guests make. The menu offers high-quality cuisine as part of the Relais & Chateaux brand. The dining room offers 180-degree panoramas, the lounge, and bar feature regional wines and beers, and a library.

The Heritage Explorer visits some of the most picturesque places in New Zealand, from sunken valleys and towering mountains to crystalline waters and golden coves. Another stunning area visited by the Heritage Explorer is Fiordland’s Southern Fiords, which are only accessible by sea and are home to Bottlenose Dolphins, Fiordland Crested Penguins, and New Zealand Fur Seals. The Heritage Explorer also visits Marlborough Sounds, another perfect opportunity to explore secluded bays and watch the dolphins, seals, and other marine life in their natural habitat.
