Highlights
Cruise in comfort and style around Indonesia on the Aliikai Voyage traditional phinisi. After being fully refurbished in 2019-20, the owner-operated Aliikai Voyage liveaboard caters to just 15 guests in five king-sized staterooms and one family cabin. Each cabin features AC, en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold water showers, granite flooring, and marble walls. Three cabins are located above the deck and have stunning sea views. Comparable to a boutique hotel with sails, the 37m Aliikai Voyage Indonesia also offers plenty of space for relaxation. The front of the phinisi has daybeds for lounging and relaxing, and the two upper decks also offer ample room for reading, chilling out, or just enjoying the stunning Indonesian scenery. There is indoor and outdoor dining where freshly prepared local and international cuisine is served. All dietary requirements can be catered to with advance notice.

Bucket list trip to be repeated!
It’s hard to put into words how amazing this trip was. Aliikai is so well organized from the time they pick you up to the time they bring you back. The crew is so helpful and fun. Some of the staff we got to know the best will be forever in our memory. Eko for his organization skills and humour, US1 for his wonderful smile and amazing fruit smoothies, Boy whose smile was contagious and his singing when we came back to the boat was a highlight. Our DM Osan was a very kind and caring man. The rest of the staff behind the scenes kept us fed, entertained and excited about the next “activity”. Some may find this trip expensive but value for your dollar is over the top. They helped us celebrate birthday’s & anniversaries. The activities included trekking to remote lagoons and look outs with a mini bar at the bottom when we were done. The food on Aliikai was top notch. A mix of Indonesia and fine cuisine. We were very sad to leave this beautiful vessel and crew. Our group was from Italy, Switzerland, Bali and Canada. We were 7 divers and 4 snorkelers and Eko made it work seamlessly. Our group got on so well and we hope to dive again somewhere down the road. Do not hesitate to book with Aliikai. You won’t be disappointed.

Wonderful liveaboard experience on this beautiful boat with super friendly and hospitable crew.
My daughter (19 yo) and I had a wonderful (Mommy-Daughter) one-week stay on board The Aliikai together with 6 other pairs of travellers. We did not know the other travellers before, but ended up enjoying each other's company and our time together tremendously - bonded by a common love for the ocean, diving and/or snorkelling. The cruise director Eko and his super friendly, attentive, and hospitable crew took such wonderful care of us, always going the extra mile to make our time on board special and memorable. Everything you needed would appear right in front of you before you even had to ask - food, drinks, snacks, towels, sunscreen, hats etc. Service was impeccable and you feel super pampered during the entire stay. Meals were freshly prepared and tasty, and of good variety - ranging from hearty mains to delightful treats, desserts and light bites, asian and western. I also especially appreciated Eko's meticulous planning, adjusting our daily routes and activities in response to the weather, so that we could enjoy as many sunny days as possible during the week (eg. adjusting our itinerary by sailing away from rainy areas, and coming back to them on a sunny day). The marine diversity and health of Raja Ampat really lived up to its reputation - diving here is better suited for intermediate to advanced divers given the stronger currents; but the dive masters on board took good care of us and made us feel safe.

Unforgettable experience above and below water
An unforgettable week on a ship that could not have been more beautiful. A great crew who spoiled us around the clock. A highlight besides the dives in the unique Raja Ampat and the spectacular shore excursions was the last evening with beach barbecue.

Our experience aboard the Aliikai was absolutely fabulous. The crew & dive masters are outstanding and attentive to all Scuba levels. The comfort of the boat is certainly a highlight, and the diving & activities are spectacular!

I cannot wait to go onboard again!
With Aliikai we found the right mix of luxury, comfort and adventure. It started already nicely to be picked up at the harbour with a well maintained rib and crew with big smiles. The cabins are all spacious, very nicely decorated and comfortable. When we came on board everything was already prepared for our arrival: water bottles with our names, diving gear already set up and drinks on a tray. Throughout the 6 days we always felt very well taken care of. Eko made sure were weren't getting too lazy over the days by setting up a nice programm. Him and Clife made sure to find the right diving spot for us. Ari, Edi and Apri drove us at the right times to the best places sometimes letting the motor run so we could check out the best dive and snorkel places even when ankering was not allowed. Gusdek and Fitrah served us excellent, healthy and fresh food 3 times a day with snacks always on hand. Zen and his big smile took care of our drinks and Bossa made sure we were all well, happy and never went hungry. While Yudi, Wahyu and Qiat drove us wherever we wanted and waited for us in their everlasting patience or drove us around water skiing or wake boarding, Alwi took care of our rooms spotlessly. But it was not only the seamless service and the professionalism of the crew, but the happiness and gentle spirit that made the stay worthwhile. One would think that you wouldn't see much of engineers or oiler on board, but together with the others Zain, Ada and Ardi greeted us waving with a happy song on their lips when we came back after each adventure. Each time after diving we were refreshed with a fresh juice or smoothie. Delicious! The crew did everything to make us happy! For me the greatest luxury was, when -after a night dive- I was served a hot and honeysweet ginger tea and a hot towel! Just perfect! On the last evening they went all out preparing an undescribable beach BBQ. It was done with some much love for detail, the food was amazing and the highlight was the crew dancing and singing for us in their "native" costumes. We had so much fun! We met some very nice, special people on board. You never know who will be sharing the trip with you, but we were lucky. Nobody wanted to leave the next morning but we all had the happy song in our heads which kept us singing for a while in happy memories.

Great service, food, comfortable cabins
The cabin and common areas were comfortable and clean. The crew were very professional and did everything to make the trip memorable. Chef catered to everyone's request, I deeply appreciated it because I know it must be difficult to cook in a tiny galley and deliver 5-stars food including plating. Crew rinsed wetsuits with disinfectant and I liked the Dettol fresh clean smell. I wish they hung the wetsuit in airy place to dry after each dive but wetsuits were hung inside a shower room.

An incredible experience with this Aliikai voyage
As non-divers, we were a bit afraid at first, but that turned out to be unjustified. Half of us were not divers so that was great. It is always a matter of waiting to see how the group will be, but this was also a success. The food was also very good and they were always ready if we wanted something different. Nothing was too much. We won't forget this trip in a hurry
