The National Geographic Gemini is a purpose-built Galápagos expedition ship accommodating up to 48 guests in 28 cabins across 4 decks. The cabin selection includes double, solo, and triple accommodations, as well as some of the largest suites in the fleet. Selected cabins feature private balconies, giving guests their own outdoor space from which to enjoy the Galápagos scenery.
Social areas include an open, window-lined lounge with a bar and library, plus a whirlpool hot tub, fitness center, and spa on the Upper Deck. Meals are served in the restaurant or at the outdoor café, both of which can accommodate all guests at a single open seating. The ship’s observation areas provide plenty of space for relaxing between excursions, while its shallow draft and maneuverable design allow it to reach remote locations.
Sailing year-round, the National Geographic Gemini offers immersive expeditions through the Galápagos Islands and their surrounding marine reserve. A fleet of Mark VI Zodiacs supports wildlife-watching excursions and shore landings, while kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, snorkeling equipment, and shortie wetsuits allow guests to explore above and below the water. Voyages draw on Lindblad Expeditions’ longstanding relationships with local communities and conservation organizations to provide greater insight into the archipelago’s wildlife and natural history.
