The Katarina Line Deluxe Superior fleet comprises 11 ships in the Adriatic Sea, designed for exclusive cruising experiences along the stunning Adriatic coast. These luxurious vessels carry the latest technology and modern amenities, ensuring comfort and style. The boats accommodate between 36 and 38 passengers. While each ship has unique features, they all share common traits defining the Deluxe Superior experience. The cabins vary in size and configuration, with some offering private balconies for admiring the coastline. They are serviced daily, fully air-conditioned, and equipped with essential amenities, including a hairdryer, a safe, a TV, and an internal phone.
Every boat features a main salon with a dining area, bar, and lounge seating. Some vessels offer additional lounge spaces for socializing and relaxation. All Deluxe Superior vessels provide outdoor spaces for soaking up the sun and enjoying the views. Most boats offer sundecks with sunbeds and seating, and many feature rooftop jacuzzis. Each ship offers a fully air-conditioned dining area, providing gourmet dining experiences. Bars are also available, offering refreshing beverages and entertainment.
Complimentary leisure equipment, including snorkeling and swimming gear, is available on all vessels. Some even have jet skis, kayaks, SUP boards, and water skis. Cruises on the Deluxe Superior category ship will be on one of the following boats: Adriatic Sky, Adriatic Sun, Aurelia, Avangard, Ave Maria, Futura, Infinity, Maritimo, Markan, Nautilus, and Rhapsody. Guests will be informed 2 weeks before the trip departure which boat their cruise will be on. A fun filled week with leisure time along with educational & fun excursions.
As just mentioned, the tour leader made the trip for us as she was dependable, knowledgeable and yet a lot of fun. The food was exceptional and our room was better than expected. Clean with great water pressure and cool A/C! Certainly a classy vacation while low key as well.

- Our leader for the week was very special. She was friendly, knowledgeable & entertaining allowing all of the passengers to mingle & she was very on top of things.. The boat itself was of a higher caliber than I anticipated.. I enjoyed all the stops and excursions while at port, yet you could lay low or be as busy as you choose..

Amazing! 🤩
We had the best time on Futura. Everything was just perfect. Roco was very knowledgeable, fun and was helpful in everything. We loved the swim stops, the excursions in beautiful Croatia and the people on our boat. Would highly recommend. We will be booking for another trip .

I highly recommend this trip for feeling comfortable & having fun!
I loved everything! It was my 3rd cruise ever & 1st time on a small ship. My hi lite was the long time we had on the water seeing Dubrovnik when we arrived: kayaks everywhere, Captain Jack Sparrow ;) with his Pirate ship & how beautiful it all felt. I was in a fairytale or movie!

- The Bartenders/food Servers were so much fun & very kind & thoughtful.. I loved that I felt safe & very comfortable on board.. Because I have a food allergy to onions & garlic, the chef made everything without those ingredients and even the ship notified the restaurant on our excursion where we saw the donkeys of my allergy!! I was served a special plate of food! I doubt this would happen in my USA..

Absolutely amazing cruise!
The ship was beautiful, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was outstanding. Loved the entertainment and shore excursions — everything was seamless and fun. Can’t wait to book the next one!

Our review
Overall, we enjoyed the boat. The staff was fantastic. A few suggestions. For the double beds, consider a filler in the middle with a cover that goes over the entire bed. The beds kept splitting apart and the single size cover didn’t work as well as a full sized comforter would have. We had a few chilly days. Allow the cabins to choose heat. The only option we had was to turn the AC off but the cabin remained cold. Had a lukewarm shower in the morning. Was told ‘this happens’ but it would heat up later (when we were off the boat). Lastly, choose a better port location in Trogir for the final day. We shouldn’t have to walk 20 minutes to get to the street to get to the arranged driver all the while pulling our luggage. These are just suggestions that would make a great trip even better. We enjoyed the itinerary. Croatia is a beautiful country!

Relaxing and Fun trip
The crew were very skilled and experienced, the layout of ship, and quality of the ship and food. We had 3 brief visits from the ship, being the blue cave, Horn Beach and an island with deer. The swim spots we anchored at each day.

This pulled us out of Hawaii.
The highlight of the trip was the scenery. Coming from BC and the Gulf Islands we consider ourselves very spoiled with idyllic island cruising but throw in centuries old villages, historic fortress walls and azure waters and this beats Beautiful BC.

- The meals where all very good, but the breakfasts seemed particularily good.. the cruising was exceptional, the mooring villages very picturesque, the water crystal clear for swimming.. The staff was consistently helpful and friendly and our onboard director very amusing..
