Highlights

  • Cozy Wine Library and attractive dining room
  • Underwater camera and hydrophone for exploration

Built in 1998 and renovated in 2008, the Safari Explorer combines comfort, elegance, and adventure with top-class facilities. The maximum number of guests is 40. Meet other guests on one of the three public decks in the attractive dining room and the cozy Wine Library. Paddleboards, kayaks, hiking poles are amongst the onboard equipment, yoga mats, and modern gym equipment. The ship has six cabin types; each en suite has air-conditioning, heated bathroom flooring, a flat-screen TV/DVD, and an iPod docking station. Memory foam mattresses make for comfortable nights, and viewing windows let you watch the action outside. Thanks to the underwater camera and hydrophone, you can even switch on your TV to see and hear what’s happening underwater.

The Safari Explorer offers 7- and 12-night Alaska expeditions. Alaskan cruises start in Seattle, Juneau, or Sitka, taking you on a magnificent icy adventure. Marvel at gigantic glaciers, traverse deep fjords, watch whales, sea lions, and penguins, amongst other creatures, and join in with various activities, including hiking and kayaking.

The friendly and professional team on the Safari Explorer is eager to help you have a holiday to remember. Avoid disappointment and book online today to secure your dates.

The Safari Explorer visits Hawaii from November – April.

Great Trip

Loved the small boat experience and being able to up close with nature. While food was plentiful I thought it would be a little more gourmet for the price we were paying.
