The 45m steel-hulled Blue Manta Liveaboard Indonesia was custom-built with divers' needs in mind. Designed to withstand all sea conditions, the Blue Manta Liveaboard will deliver a comfortable Indonesian dive liveaboard trip.

The Blue Manta Liveaboard has 14 beautifully furnished cabins. Each cabin measures a spacious 20sqm and has en-suite bathrooms and individually controlled air-conditioning. With 3 chefs aboard the Blue Manta Liveaboard serving no less than 5 meals per day, meal times are taken seriously, with the day starting with freshly baked bread. Simply the best boat!!
This was my second trip on Blue Manta. I was on the boat in Komodo and just got back from Raja Ampat. This is the best liveaboard I’ve been on. It’s huge and very stable. The service was unbelievable and everyone from the cruise director to the dive masters and chefs went out of their way to give the best service. The rooms are huge, food was awesome and the diving was incredible. I can’t wait to get back on this boat.

Perfect dive holiday

Had an amazing trip aboard Blue Manta in Komodo. Everything about this liveaboard is amazing from the size of the rooms to the crew and the quality of the food. Outstanding service and the rooms are so much larger and more luxurious than other boats. Amazing DMs who know the sites and terrain very well. Can’t wait to go back.

Utmost hospitality in Indonesia
2nd time on Blue Manta. Incredible hospitality by the staff. You always feel welcome and cared for. The dive guides are awesome and have great eyes for marine life both macro and deep in the blue. The water temperature did warm significantly earlier this year so our hammerhead sightings were greatly reduced; though, the spawning was a unique experience.

Nice diving trip
Diving sites are excellent for us to see beautiful reef and fishes. I could see 2 hammer heads during the trip. Water is clear and warm for me to dive 3 to 4 times a day. DM was very helpful during divings and searched special things for taking photos.

A great diving trip with great crew
I went to Raja Ampat by Blue Manta . The diving experience was amazing and the staff was very friendly and took care of your requests. The diving groups are relatively small (groups of 4 unless requested otherwise). The boat is also very comfortable and you don’t feel cramped. The boat is getting old and needs some TLC but it is extremely comfortable. The food is mostly local and I find it a bit high in carb.

Great diving boat on a wonderful itinerary
Manta Blue is a very spacious and comfortable boat, very stable at sea. I would recommend it to anyone who can be subject to sea sickness. We had a wonderful diving experience thanks to the efficiency and kindness of the crew. The food was great, particularly for breakfast and lunches. As a cruise director, Cedric was exceptional. His briefing were very detailed and insightful and he shared his immense knowledge of the region.

Diving in Misool - overwhelming variety and number of fish Exploring lagoon and waterfall at coastline of Papua Exploring Triton Bay - incredible diversity of corals Meeting friends for life .... it is hard to determine the highlights of this trip as every day was a highlight in its own. Even though I'm very critical this trip for me was perfect in every aspect - the diving, the boat, the crew and their service, the food and the co-divers/travelers. I can only recommend the Blue Manta and would book it again anytime!

This trip was very well organized. We went to very beautiful dive sites and saw everything that has been put forward in the sales pitch of the trip: hammerheads schools, beautiful corals and amazing biodiversity. The team is very friendly and the service very good, not to talk about the chef who has prepared very good Asian and Western dishes. I really recommend this trip to anyone looking for a change of scenery and unforgettable dives.

Raja Ampat lived up to its reputation. So grateful to get off the waitlist for Blue Manta. Don’t wait too long to book. Dive sites were a blast with some many fish, Cedric our maestro ran a top ship, the crew were incredibly hospitable and food was delicious, Vickly represented the best of divemasters, and my peers were a great, friendly group. Many of whom had been on the ship (and route) several times prior. Hope to do a crossing and/or Komodo soon with them. 5 stars!

The professionalism and service with a smile! The cruise director prepared us well for what to expect at each dive site - best dive briefings peppered with a sense of humor! Choice of dive sites and really informative about each site. This is the best liveaboard and dive crew that one could ask for - designed by divers for divers, nothing superfluous and everything works!

The entire team, from the ship's crew, the service crew and of course the dive crew - outstanding job!!. The cabin is nice and spacious, not luxurious, but functional and well kept. The boat itself, from the dive deck, dining deck and upper deck - well kept, and nicely designed.

I loved that the water was so warm and dives were 60 minutes long! Egoi was an amazing trip leader...very knowledgeable and responsible...funny and professional. I was hanging out in the camera room a lot with PJ (the videographer) and I had a blast in there! I am vegan and they were able to accommodate me which was unexpected and delicious! The boat is so big and comfortable...I never got sea sick and the crew is just amazing :)

The best liveaboard experience I have had
Cabin size and always kept clean. Friendly helpful crew. The boat setup is great loved the showers at the back, the nice warm ginger tea at the end of each dive. Dive briefing very helpful. The crew really engage with the guests checking we are ok getting our import all the time. Small number in each dive group ( only 4 per dive guide is great ) Food was great diving was great the whole experience was one to remember and Sarah and I are coming back.
