The 45m steel-hulled Blue Manta Liveaboard Indonesia was custom-built with divers' needs in mind. Designed to withstand all sea conditions, the Blue Manta Liveaboard will deliver a comfortable Indonesian dive liveaboard trip.

The Blue Manta Liveaboard has 14 beautifully furnished cabins. Each cabin measures a spacious 20sqm and has en-suite bathrooms and individually controlled air-conditioning. With 3 chefs aboard the Blue Manta Liveaboard serving no less than 5 meals per day, meal times are taken seriously, with the day starting with freshly baked bread. The dive trip was an absolutely wonderful experience and highly recommended. Great service from the crews in ensuring all dives go smoothly. Juan, our dive guide, is experienced, patience and top-notch in guiding us, especially when we experienced unexpected strong drift current, up-current, and down-current, even as we got split up because of the current. He managed to find all the macros on our wishlist. We are well fed by the kitchen and food crew. Room cleanliness was also well maintained.

Wonderful liveaboard in the Banda Sea!
The liveaboard with Blue Manta was very good! Everything was well organized, the good organization of the dives, friendliness and helpfulness of the crew, spacious and comfortable ship, good cruise leader Evan should be highlighted.Spacious dive deck with personal space per diver. The crew members carried our BCD with diving tank to the dinghies, careful handling of the cameras. Dive guides responded to group requests and are very experienced.Large sun deck with plenty of shade. The ship was very stable, also very suitable for longer crossings.Food was good, but can be a bit more varied on an 11-day tour. Vegetarian option was offered.

Great diving boat on a wonderful itinerary
Manta Blue is a very spacious and comfortable boat, very stable at sea. I would recommend it to anyone who can be subject to sea sickness. We had a wonderful diving experience thanks to the efficiency and kindness of the crew. The food was great, particularly for breakfast and lunches. As a cruise director, Cedric was exceptional. His briefing were very detailed and insightful and he shared his immense knowledge of the region.

Exactly as expected and more!
I loved that the water was so warm and dives were 60 minutes long! Egoi was an amazing trip leader...very knowledgeable and responsible...funny and professional. I was hanging out in the camera room a lot with PJ (the videographer) and I had a blast in there! I am vegan and they were able to accommodate me which was unexpected and delicious! The boat is so big and comfortable...I never got sea sick and the crew is just amazing :)

Best Dive - Liveaboard experience
Komodo has a great range of diving experience, Blue Manta is a purpose built boat for diving. The setup is so good, makes each dive feel so relaxing from dive brief to finish. The staff on the boat are superb, they do a good job looking after all the divers during dive an on the boat.

Great week in Komodo
It was a great trip! Crew was super helpful and catered to every need. We saw lots big and small in Komodo - from mantas to pgymy seahorses. I enjoyed my trip and would book with them again. The boat is one of the biggest and nicest in Indonesia - especially good for those prone to seasickness as it's very stable.

An exceptional liveaboard experience.
Splendid dive and ship operations in my option. All crew worked as one team! It was a joy to wake up and have all day genuinely smiling and competent people around. I particularly liked the cruise directors philosophy. His wake-up calls and dive briefings are legendary. All dive guides did their very best to suit all guests interests and abilities. I gladly will be back on the Blue Manta.

Simply the best boat!!
This was my second trip on Blue Manta. I was on the boat in Komodo and just got back from Raja Ampat. This is the best liveaboard I’ve been on. It’s huge and very stable. The service was unbelievable and everyone from the cruise director to the dive masters and chefs went out of their way to give the best service. The rooms are huge, food was awesome and the diving was incredible. I can’t wait to get back on this boat.

Great cruise, everything was great! The magnificent dives, with both big (a little) and small, and an extraordinary environment. The dives are done in small groups (4 or 5) which is appreciated. The boat is really comfortable (even in the lower deck cabins), and the sun deck with its large double beds sheltered from the sun is really great. All the staff was very caring, the food very good and the organization impressive. The few excursions to "land" (a village, a lagoon...) were great too. In short, the dream.

Raja Ampat. Period.
Raja Ampat lived up to its reputation. So grateful to get off the waitlist for Blue Manta. Don’t wait too long to book. Dive sites were a blast with some many fish, Cedric our maestro ran a top ship, the crew were incredibly hospitable and food was delicious, Vickly represented the best of divemasters, and my peers were a great, friendly group. Many of whom had been on the ship (and route) several times prior. Hope to do a crossing and/or Komodo soon with them. 5 stars!
